The above site
search tool is the one provided with Microsoft FrontPage.
Your server must be configured properly with FrontPage
extensions in order for it to work, and you can not control
the output nor the pages searched. If you are serious about
an excellent site search for your web, we recommend the
MySearch product sold through Thomas Brunt's
OutFront.net:

Features
The links to returned records
are named by the Title of the page. If no title is present,
the file name will be used.
You have the option of adding a
description to the page. This description is not shown by web
browsers (view source will show it) by will be listed in the
returned results beneath the file Title. If you have a content
rich site, this allows the user to get a more detailed idea of
the page other than the search results.
The search can either be
limited to one (1) folder or the entire site. Sub folders and
sub webs will searched.
The search initially places the
web contents in an Access2000 database. Folders that begin
with an underscore "_" will not be included. If you wish to
hide files from the search, they must be places in a folder
that begins with "_".
SQL server can be used with
minimal changes.
